Who is Doug Cohen?
Doug met BH IoT co-founder John Hubler 13 years ago as he was ending his career with T-Mobile. Although they never had the opportunity to work together, Doug admired John and felt he could learn a lot from him. They stayed in touch and Doug launched the next phase of his career in digital marketing. Now, Doug is working with John’s business partner, Steve Brumer, to develop this series of videos on various IoT topics.
Who is BH IoT Group?
Steve and John have been in the IoT/M2M/wireless industry for over 25 years. During that time, they’ve deployed millions of IoT devices, using many aspects of the industry. Over the last several years, they’ve realized that companies who have built really disruptive technology are struggling with go-to-market planning and figuring out the monetization/commercialization strategy. This is true whether they have a hardware piece, device, software, platform, or service offering.
BH IoT Group focuses on answering the following questions:
· What is going to be the best way for you to go to market?
· What does the pricing model have to look like?
· What does marketing and brand awareness have to be like?
· Where is the money? Who has the money? Who is the customer?
· What problem are you really solving?
