We are back with another episode of IoT Nuggets! As the world begins to open back up again, 2021 is going to be the year of renewing some face-to-face, in-person shows for IoT vendors. These events have been very valuable to the IoT solution providers in this space, especially Steve and John of BH IoT Group. Here are some of the events that are on the docket.
We are thrilled to back on the road over the next several months, starting with IoT Evolution in Miami from June 21-24. We’ll also be at Sensors Converge in September, Mobile World Congress in October, and IoT World at the beginning of November.
Why Are These Events So Important for IoT Vendors?
Many of BH IoT’s clients and people in their extended network have been looking for more lead generation alternatives over the last year to replace what they used to get from trade shows. Webinars, executive briefings, and virtual events are all great, but nothing beats face-to-face interactions with vendors, prospects, end-users, systems integrators, and resellers.
Looking at a live demo in a booth versus on a virtual video call is going to be critically important. Many IoT vendors want to go see and meet with their potential customers as well as channel partners and distributors.
We are looking forward to going back to IoT World, entering the Hyatt lobby in Santa Clara, and seeing everybody at the bar!
COVID-19 Precautions
Everything will be COVID-19 protected. They’ll be taking temperatures and you can bring your vaccination card to prove you’ve had the vaccine. There will be safe situations so we can get back to face-to-face interactions. It’s been a long time since we were able to get to shows and we are looking forward to breaking the barrier!
The IoT Industry Has Not Slowed Down
In fact, it’s continuing to explode. There are new sensors, products, devices, software applications, and so much more. Walking the trade show floor, you get a chance to play, look, and talk with people to better understand the new IoT technologies.
